Basics Boot Camp: Meeting Fundamentals is a 6-hour certificate course designed for people who are responsible for planning meetings and events but may not have any formal training. This course will help you get more strategic and confident when managing meeting stakeholders, designing meetings, sourcing sites and vendors, handling program logistics and overseeing the onsite execution of your meetings and events. Basics Boot Camp will give you a strong foundation of core skills needed to plan your next meeting or event, whether it is large or small.

The course is divided into two parts, each 3 hours in length, which may be taken individually or together.

  • Part 1 covers Sourcing & Strategy
  • Part 2 covers Design & Logistics

Participants of this course receive:

  • Certificates in Meeting Fundamentals: Sourcing & Strategy and/or Design & Logistics
  • 6 CMP-IS clock hours for completing Parts 1 & 2
