Debbie possesses both client and supplier Cvent experience, most recently arriving from Deloitte Canada as their Cvent Events Specialist lead. In June, 2015, she became part of Cvent’s first Blue Release Certified Event Management Professionals, after passing the certification exam offered during Cvent’s CONNECT 2015 conference. She joined Cvent in October, 2016 as their Entreprise Implementation Consultant, working with Fortune 500 clients to implement Strategic Meeting Management Cvent technology to streamline their meetings & events business processes. Before Deloitte, Debbie had her own event planning business in which she managed numerous events including: weddings, charity galas, golf tournaments, and corporate meetings. Prior to event planning, Debbie enjoyed a variety of roles in the banking industry including, workforce development, instructional learning & design, marketing/product management, branch operations as well as obtaining her Certified Management Accounting (CMA) designation (which she has now retired). Before moving to Toronto, Debbie was educated in Montreal, QC, Canada and possesses a BComm in Accounting from McGill University. She is proficient working in both English (expert) & French (working knowledge) languages. As an ESFJ personality dimension, it is important for Debbie to build relationships with the her clients and team members despite her working remotely from her home office in Mississauga. She loves sharing her passion for Cvent with external clients, continuing her quest for learning and contributing as much as possible to both the Implementation team and Cvent clients. Debbie is married to Jeff (22 years & counting), mother to Emma (3rd year university student), hiker-companion to dogs, Panda & Parker and constant lap-provider to Morris the cat.
