Vlaad Zahradnik is the current Manager of Engineering at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, who has held this position for the past 17 years. Vlaad began his career 31 years ago in 1988 as the building operator and has since gained a wealth of knowledge on the technical infrastructure of the entire building. As the manager of Engineering, Vlaad and his team control all the details of the building including the heating & cooling, energy & water consumption as well as all the new improvements being made to the building. Without Vlaad, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre would not operate as efficiently as it does today.
