Tom Brennan, Chief Technology Officer/Chief Information Officer for Mandelbaum Barrett provides strategic guidance to the Firm in regards to its cybersecurity efforts and critical infrastructure. Tom has two decades of hands-on the keyboard experience building, breaking and defending data for clients worldwide. Tom’s experience includes performing and leading covert red team operations and activities, including performing adversarial emulation, assumed breach scenarios, post-exploitation, social engineering, and physical security testing.

He is an alumnus of Datek Online, ADP, Intel Security/Foundstone, SAFECode, Trustwave SpiderLabs, WhiteHat, IOActive and the United States Marine Corps. He served the Open-Source/OWASP Foundation community as an elected member of the Global Board of Directors for ten years. He also founded the New Jersey OWASP Chapter and grew the New York City as President for Thirteen Years.

Tom is associated with CREST International as its elected Chairman of the Americas Board and has participated as a technical advisor for New York University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, County College of Morris, Morris County Economic Development Corporation, Rockaway Township, New Jersey.
