Christopher S. Reina PhD

Dr. Christopher Reina is the Founder and President of Leading Without Ego LLC and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at Virginia Commonwealth University. He consults and leads trainings on mindfulness and mindful leadership, and managing the emotional space within organizations. His research focuses on the intersection of leadership, mindfulness, and emotions in the workplace and how they aid employees and organizations in successfully adapting to change. Christopher received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. His research has been featured in Harvard Business Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, The Leadership Quarterly, and Organizational Science. He has extensive industry experience in leadership training and development as well as sales and marketing in the healthcare and food industries.
