Kara has been in the hospitality sales and marketing industry for over 16 years, with the last four and a half years serving as a Director of Sales & Marketing for a convention center. Kara's passion has always been about serving others and as we all know, is the core of hospitality.
She is thankful for the opportunities that MPI has given her. From 2015 to 2020, Kara served in the various board of director roles with the MPI Oregon Chapter.
Kara has taken the difficult year of 2020, to make lemonade out of lemons. She started her marketing consulting business in late summer 2020 and is in the process of starting up her second business. She remains active in her community and was most recently appointed to the Oregon State Fair Foundation Board of Directors.
She resides in Salem, Oregon with her husband and two school-aged children.
