Mae Whiting

Mae is the Sr. Event Program Manager at AWS and manages the Summit program for the Americas. She is also an active member of the Asians at Amazon group, whose purpose is to provide a support structure for Asian employees at Amazon and promote diversity within the company.

While born in Seoul, Mae was adopted at 6 months and was raised in the mid-west. She has participated in panel talks for Korean adoptees and parents, sharing in her experiences to help provide support to others. She recently left her heart in San Francisco and decided to move outside of the city to Santa Rosa with her partner and two French Bulldogs. Mae is a member of CEMA and in process of obtaining her CTSM. She also serves as a Board Member for Survivor Strong, which provides educational and healing opportunities for survivors of gender-based violence.
