Vice President of Marketing, Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority

H. Fletch Brunelle is the Vice President of Marketing of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). The LVCVA is the destination marketing organization for Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, and its mission centers on attracting visitors by promoting the destination as the world’s most desirable destination for leisure and business travel. In his role, Mr. Brunelle oversees the organization’s marketing, advertising, and sales efforts, and its work with R&R Partners, including the evolution of the famous What Happens Here, Stays Here campaign, the most successful destination marketing campaign in history. He originally joined the LVCVA in 1988 as a research coordinator, before moving on to MGM Resorts International in 1992, where he enjoyed a successful 27-year career in various capacities including finance, development, sales, marketing, and operations. A native of Las Vegas, Mr. Brunelle returned to the LVCVA to lead its marketing efforts in 2019. He holds a master of business administration and a bachelor of science in business administration, both from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Mr. Brunelle is currently a member of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Graduate College Dean’s Leadership Council, and a mentor at University of Nevada, Las Vegas William F. Harrah College of Hospitality.
