Deirdre Fike serves as Vice President of Investigations and Intelligence in Corporate Security at MGM Resorts International, Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, Ms. Fike sets the strategy for the leadership and management of enterprise investigations. She oversees Internal, Fraud, and Cyber Forensic Investigations, the Workplace Violence Program, Emergency Management, Strategic Intelligence, and the Global Security Operations Center. Ms. Fike previously served as the Vice President and Chief Security Officer of Corporate Security at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California. Ms. Fike joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1989 and served 28 years before retiring as Assistant Director in Charge of the Los Angeles Field Office with responsibility for the overall functionality of the office and all criminal and national security operations in seven counties in Southern California. Ms. Fike served as a Senior Executive in her roles as the Special Agent in Charge of the Anchorage, Alaska Field Office and at FBI Headquarters as an Inspector in Charge, where she was responsible for leading teams conducting global on-site inspections to evaluate efficiencies and effectiveness in compliance with FBI Policy. Ms. Fike served as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge in the Sacramento Field Office leading the integration of intelligence functions with operations and served as on-site Commander for the SWAT Team. She served as a field supervisor for Health Care Fraud, Public Corruption, and Civil Rights investigations. As a Special Agent, she investigated a variety of federal violations to include kidnappings, bank robberies, extortions, and serial homicides with the Behavioral Science Unit. Ms. Fike is a trained crisis negotiator. Ms. Fike was awarded the Presidential Rank Award in 2017. Ms. Fike serves on the Executive Working Group of the FBI’s Domestic Security Alliance Council and is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security. Ms. Fike earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
