Director, Van Wagner

A native Floridian who has been based in New York City for the last decade, Patrick has a passion for volunteerism while uplifting others to accomplish their own professional goals. Serving his second consecutive term as President of MPI Greater New York, Patrick oversees a 16-member Board of Directors that have focused their efforts on enhancing education, highlighting diversity, equity and inclusion while also growing meeting planner engagement & providing valuable CSR activities to our diverse network of New York hospitality professionals. He has been an active member of MPIGNY since 2010 and has served on the Board of Directors for the last five years.

He began his career in hospitality at The Greenbrier, a historic luxury resort located in the foothills of West Virginia serving as the National Sales Manager overseeing the Northeast group sales market. His time in New York includes Director level positions with Highgate Hotels, Sheraton New York Times Square, and the New York Hilton Midtown. As a member of Finance & Insurance Hospitality Professionals (FICP) for the last decade, he also maintains several impactful professional relationships within the financial services & insurance markets. In his current role as Director of Business Development at Van Wagner, Patrick manages the corporate event market and is based out of New York City.

He graduated from the University of North Florida and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations. He is also an active volunteer for Big Brothers Sisters of America and is in his fourth year of the mentor program where he provides real-world guidance to a college student who recently graduated from The Bronx Leadership Academy. As an avid golfer, you can often find him spending time on his golf game, running on the East River, and spending quality time with friends and family.
